Sebastião Gomes Brigade normalized river to Save Schools and communities houses and Plantations In Guiço and Lissadila. (Wednesday, 04/02/2026)
LIQUIÇA, 04 February 2026 – Institute of Equipment Management and Infrastructure Development Support, Public Institute (IGEADI, I.P.), through Brigade Sebastião Gomes, normalized the Berolo River in Guiço Village, Post Loes Administrative, Liquiça Municipality, so that, during the rainy season, the river does not destroy the Tapo Manuhulu Basic School (Branch 1 and 2 cycles), the community residence, and the plantation.
In addition to the regulation of the Berolo River (IGEADI, I.P.), led by Member I Almeiro C. Cairo Alves, accompanied by brigade chief Sebastião Gomes, Antonio Sarmento, technician Agostinho da Conceição and chief of the Guiço Village, Guinaldo Brites, the chief of the Lissadila Village, Fernando Lobo, observed the river in Lissadila Village, where, during the rainy season, the water overflows onto the roads, hindering the movement of communities and threatening houses, crops and electrical installations.
