Dili, 10 February 2025 (IGEADI.IP) – President of the Institute of Equipment Management and Infrastructure Development Support, Public Institute (IGEADI.IP), Dra. Ana Paula da Cruz, opened the certification and licensing training for operators of high-risk work equipment for the second phase, the ceremony was held at the IGEADI.IP Central Compound in Colmera, Dili.
Through her intervention President of IGEADI.IP Dr. Ana Paula da Cruz said, previously realized training for the first stage, in this training produced a total of 30 operators, composed of twenty (20) IGEADI employees and members of FALINTIL-Timor-Leste Defense Force (F-FDTL), Total Engineering Companies (10), in the second phase still involved by members (F-FDTL) totaling (10).
” Those of you who have registered here, we consider as IGEADI students, I see ahead only young people who are willing to attend training, therefore, I ask all of you who take part in this training to obey the rules of IGEADI, show your discipline because trainers are not only from IGEADI but international trainers will also come from abroad to give training to you,” said President IGEADI.IP.
The number one person in IGEADI asked the participants to follow the training diligently, so that a certificate of international standards can be obtained, because the certificate is not given to just anyone, only people who follow the training in IGEADI can get the certificate, because
In the same place, National Director of Warehousing and Equipment (IGEADI.IP), Luis Ximens do Carmo, said, to follow this training must pay close attention to safety, so as to save our lives from accidents, because we encounter only large work equipment, so safety is important.
“When we drive a machine, car or motorcycle, we can not look back and forth, we must focus forward, because safety (Safety) is 88% in our own hands, 10% comes from the equipment we use and 2% comes from God’s destiny,” said National Director of Warehouses and Equipment (IGEADI).
Meanwhile, the participants who participated in the certification and licensing training for operators of high-risk work equipment for the second phase, totaling 50, composed of members of FALINTIL-Timor-Leste Defense Force (F-FDTL), Engineering Company (10), students from Dom Bosco Comoro, Mechanical Students of DIT and and students of Becora Vocational Technical School (40).*
