Dili, 19 December 2024 (IGEADI.IP) – His Excellency Prime Minister (PM), Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão, directed the Institute of Equipment Management and Infrastructure Development Support. Public Institute (IGEADI.IP), to collect garbage in the Capital Dili for two days.
President of IGEADI.IP Dra. Ana Paula da Cruz, said, after receiving guidance from HE Prime Minister, Kay Rala Xanana Gusmão and HE Minister of Public Works (MOP), Samuel Marçal, to collect garbage in Dili, the Council Administration of IGEADI, that led by the President together with all IGEADI employees executed the order directly to the field to collect garbage.
“We see that Dili garbage almost two weeks not collected, so through the meeting of the Council of Ministers (CM), Prime Minister asked all ministries to stand up to clean up garbage, therefore Minister of Public Works (MOP), directed IGEADI to give maximum support because IGEADI has complete equipment to use collected the garbage, so yesterday and today I directed all theheavy machines down to clean up the garbage in Dili, said President IGEADI.IP Dr. Ana Paula da Cruz, at her workplace Colmera Dili, on Thursday (19/12/2024).
The President of IGEADI highlights that the garbage collection service is not only done by IGEADI but also accompanied by the Cabinet of MOP, local companies and institutions under the tutelage of the Ministry of Public Works (MOP).
At least we are going to enter the holidays of Christmas and New Year, our city is clean, because in some places we have to collect garbage but its rotten and snakes, when its rains can cause diseases to our population, that’s why yesterday we cleaned but not yet, so today we continue to clean,” said President IGEADI.
The President said, Cabinet (MOP) directed IGEADI to clean in the East of Dili starting from Bidau Kuluhun and Becora, yesterday IGEADI cleaned in the West starting from Roundabout President Nicolao Lobato, Beto, Bebonuk, Kampung Baru, Malinamoc, Aimutin, Delta, Manleuana, Surikamas and Bairo-Pite.
