
President of IGEADI, I.P. Receives Land Documents Delivered by Dotik Community. Friday(14/06).
Dili, 14 June 2024 (IGEADI.IP) – The community of Dotik Village, Alas Administrative Post, Manufahi Municipality handed over three hectares of land to the Institute of Equipment Management and Infrastructure Development Support. Public Institutes. (IGEADI.IP), to establish the IGEADI.IP compound Rosa Muki Bonaparte Brigade.
Through his intervention, the Head of village, Adelino da Costa, said, Dotik Community decided to voluntarily hand over three hectares of land to IGEADI,I.P. to become an IGEADI,I.P. compound to store IGEADI,I.P.’s heavy equipment to respond to emergency issues in Ainaro, Manufahi and Manatuto.
“Today the community of Dotik handed over three hectares of land to IGEADI.IP to become a camp for IGEADI.IP under the name of Brigade Rosa Muki Bonaparte so that IGEADI.IP can put their heavy equipment so that they can intervene quickly to emergency situations that happen in Manufahi, Ainaro, Manatuto, they can respond and we can’t wait any longer,” said Adelino da Costa in his intervention during the signing ceremony to hand over three hectares of land to IGEADI.IP in Dotik village, Alas Administrative Post, Manufahi Municipality, Friday (14/06/2024).
He added, IGEADI campaign needs to be established in Manufahi to be able to intervene quickly to normalize roads, bridges and damaged roads in Manufahi, Ainaro, Manaututo including Viqueque.
In the same place, President of Manufahi Municipal Authority, Luis Marçal da Costa, said, Dotik Village began to show an example to other municipalities that development starts from us and we have the obligation to contribute to the development.
“With the attribution of land to IGEADI i praise and thank the Dotik community you show a good example to us all that development is not one person’s responsibility but our responsibility,” he said.
Also in the same occasion, President IGEADI.IP Dra. Ana Paula da Cruz said, the allocation of land from the Dotik community is a good example for other municipal communities because Manufahi is conscious that the people need to collaborate with the state to develop Timor-Leste.
“What the community of Dotik is doing is a good example for other municipalities, this shows that they want to contribute to development,” said President IGEADI.IP
Also, Minister of Public Works, Samuel, also appreciated the initiative of the community of DotiK to offer three hectares of land to IGEADI.IP
“Dotik community you are an example to other municipalities, Manufahi people must maintain that development is not in the contribution of one or two people. But development requires the contribution of all communities, this is how the country develops well,” said His Excellency MOP Samuel Marçal.
Meanwhile, the land handover ceremony from the Dotik District Community was attended by HE Minister of Public Works (MOP), Samuel Marçal, Secretary of State for Toponymy Germano Santa Brites Dias, President of Manufahi Municipal Authority, Luis Marcal da Costa, IGEADI.IP Council, Alas Administrative Post Local Authority , Administrative of Fatuberliu, Manufahi Municipal Police Command and communities.
