I. About IGEADI, I.P.

IGEADI, I.P. is Institute of Equipment Management and Development Support of Infrastructures, Public Institute in Timor-Leste. As a collective person of public law, and legal personality, administrative autonomy with its own financial and property, as well as the actions with tutelage and supervision of the Minister responsible for the area of ​​Public Works in Timor-Leste.

II. Main Functions and Duties:

IGEADI, I.P. realize an important work in the development and maintenance of infrastructure in Timor-Leste, with the following main functions:

  1. Heavy Equipment Manager: Responsible for the management, exploration and maintenance of heavy vehicles, machinery and equipment linked to public works.
  2. Support for Infrastructure Development: Provide technical and operational support for the development and maintenance of the infrastructure, including:
    • Road maintenance: Realize a maintenance, rehabilitation and construction of temporary roads
    • Dredging and cleaning of rivers and streams: Contributing to the prevention of floods and the maintenance of water flow.
    • Stabilization of banks and slopes: Act to protect areas vulnerable to landslides and erosion.
  3. Support the Minister of Public Works: Support the Minister in formulating policies related to the operation and maintenance of heavy vehicles and equipment.
  4. Respond to emergency situations: Prepare to respond to an emergency situation that affects infrastructure, such as road and bridge repairs flood damage and more Training:
